Supra TT MKIV brakes
Extra braking power is obviously needed to arrest those bursts of speed.   Since the 1993-1998 Supra TT shares the same platform, many parts including the front brakes are a bolt-on affair.  The brake swap itself is very straightforward with approximately 2-3 hours of labor.   Getting the wheels to clear the front calipers is a different matter.  With 4 pistons and ample fin area for cooling, this caliper is able to withstand much greater forces and heat than the standard brakes.  Unfortunately, the calipers are also heavy and bulky, requiring careful wheel selection.  Many 17" wheels won't clear the calipers at the wheel spoke, including the Lexus GS400 factory 17" wheels.   The calipers had to be shaved with a grinding wheel to fit.

The calipers pads and rotors can be sourced from any Toyota dealer.  A shim kit is also needed.  I would suggest Jay Marks
Toyota, ask for Jeff Watson.  Price should be around $800.  Jay Marks toyota is at www.toyotaworld.com.
